How does IPL Work?

Highly controlled flashes of light are selectively absorbed by the targeted tissue which is then converted to heat. Depending on the treatment selected, the light heat energy cauterizes the blood supply to the hair follicle or the cells that create pigment or shrinks the unwanted blood vessels. At the same time, the IPL stimulates new collagen production which ensures a more youthful appearance.
