How does IPL Work?


Highly controlled flashes of light are selecitvely absorbed by the targeted tissue which is then converted to heat. Depending on the treatment selected, the light heat energy cauterises the blood supply to the hair folicle or the cells that create pigment or shrinks the unwanted blood vessels. At the same time, the IPL stimulates new collagen production which ensures a more youthful appearance.
